Marie was born and raised in France, spending all of her free time in her parents' music school. She started teaching piano, guitar, and voice as a teenager and hasn’t stopped since! She finished high school in Italy at the United World College of the Adriatic, and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Luther College in Decorah, IA. Throughout her travels, she has taught people of all ages in music as well as French, English, and after school tutoring. Her favorite part of teaching piano is getting kids excited to learn and play on their instrument, particularly beginners. Each student is different, so it's of the utmost importance to her to create a safe and fun space through playing games, improvisation, doing duets early on, and adapting to the student's needs of the day.
