Synopsis

"Anything Goes" is a 1930's Cole Porter musical that takes place on a cruise ship.  The plot is a mix of romance, farce, and musical comedy.  Reno Sweeney, the diva of the ship's entertainment, is the center of the entire adventure. Billy and Hope share a flirtatious connection, but Hope’s family is in financial trouble, and marrying Evelyn would save them. Moonface and Bonnie conspire to disguise Billy as a crew member to protect him from being arrested for a crime he’s committed. Along the way, the passengers and crew engage in playful pranks, disguises, and romantic entanglements.  The story blends witty dialogue, lush jazz numbers, and a colorful cast, making it a classic of the Golden Age of musical theatre.
