Aikido is a dynamic & non-competitive Japanese martial art that focuses on harmonizing with & redirecting an oncoming force. We provide students with a safe environment where they can develop their physical fitness, practice awareness, compassion, & cooperation with others, gain an understanding of Japanese language & tradition, build character & self-discipline, all while having fun & learning Aikido, the martial art of peace. Our course offers officially recognized rank through the Aikido World Alliance (AWA). At the end of each session, students will take part in a belt test and earn a certificate.
Uniforms will be provided & are expected to be worn during classes.

Our instructors
Andrew Teska and Colby Jones have trained in Aikido for 10 years and are certified Aikido instructors through the Aikido World Alliance. Both regularly train and teach Aikido to youth and adults alike. Teska and Jones Sensei travel around the world, learning from Aikido's most well known practitioners. They were also members of the USA delegation for Aikido at the 2022 World Games.
