New and returning students welcome! High energy and interactive songs and activities are designed to teach children the foundations of music such as how to sing in tune and keep a steady beat. Music and methods are inspired by research in early child development and offer a wide variety of genres, styles, eras, and cultures to maximize musical potential. The teacher provides enough instruments and props for all students to actively participate together.

This class features classical music by historic and famous composers. Students learn music literacy and music history through physical movement activities, listening activities, games, singing, dancing, storytime, and art. This class features a mix of music and curriculum by The Learning Groove® and by The Music Playhouse of Chicago.

Students registered for one of these ateliers can stay at school until 6pm by registering for the Extended Day option.
