Do you like to sing? Do you want to improve your vocal technique and develop your listening skills? Are you motivated by group activities? Then join us! In addition to exploring a varied choral repertoire, choir members will be able to perfect their solfege and discover their vocal potential through a series of warm-up exercises and musical games. Participation in Lycée events (e.g. French Market) is expected.
Meet our teacher
After touring the world with Cirque du Soleil, Julie De Grandpré landed in Chicago with one mission: bring the joy of music to as many people as possible. An expert in early childhood music education, Madame Julie has studied Dalcroze and has been awarded a Certification Level II from the internationally acclaimed Music Together program. She has developed her own French curriculum to introduce the rich Francophone culture to the littlest ones while empowering their grownups in their musical capacities. Mme Julie has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (piano, voice) from Université Laval, Québec City.
Students registered for one of these ateliers can stay at school until 6pm by registering for the Extended Day option. The additional cost for the year of Extended Day is $200.
