Improve your vocal technique and develop your listening skills with Choir Lab! Students will explore rhythm and harmony as they learn to be part of a vocal ensemble. Voice teacher Gabrielle Goudard will meet students where they are to grow their voices and explore varied musical repertoire, from pop songs to choral standards. Performance opportunities may be available and will be shared with families once confirmed.​​

About the Instructor

Drawing on her choral experience from childhood, Gabrielle will use the multidisciplinary skills passed on by music and performance professionals to enrich the Choir Lab experience. She has taught voice, piano and percussion, given masterclasses, and conducted ensembles all over Chicagoland and in Perú. Her desire for the Choir Lab is to approach the basics of choral components to develop oneself into a conscious singer, skilled musician and ensemble member. Choir practices have so many benefits like listening, giving space to each other, creating together, and finally having fun making music with anyone!

Students registered for one of these ateliers can stay at school until 6pm by registering for the Extended Day option.
