ADVANCED GERMAN COURSE

Three 50-minute periods each week

Mondays from 3:40pm to 5:30pm 

Thursdays from 3:40pm to 4:30pm

For grades 6-7, advanced level only

Year-long program starting mid-September and ending the first week of June 

Full year price adjustable based on number of registered students

3 students: $2,250 

4 students: $1,750.00 

5 students: $1,450.00 

6 students: $1,250.00

Starting this school year we are offering a German course designated for German native speakers. Our objective is to prepare students to the rigor of the German A course that we offer in 9th grade as part of our partnership with the German International School of Chicago.   

Students will meet twice a week and will work on improving their grammar, writing and reading skills. We work together with GISC and use the same curriculum.

Cost for the full year includes 3 hours of Advanced German Course per week, all books, 1 field trip and  a couple of fun group outings such as a trip to Margie's :)

About Iryna Mysko: I am a German citizen who has been living in the US since 2018. I received my Master's Degree from the University Kassel(Kassel, Germany) and a few years later I took my Second State Exam for Secondary Education I and II and received my teaching license. In Germany, I worked at a High School where I taught German and German as a Foreing Language.  In Chicago, I taught 3rd and 4th grade at DankHaus. I have been teaching at LFC since September 2020.
