In this course, your child will learn the skills to be a coder and the mindset to be an entrepreneur, through actually building and releasing an iPhone app with their peers!
Vineyard App instructors are empathetic and experienced Ivy-League coding experts who help students gain an exciting set of 21st-century tech skills, at the same time as they learn about innovation and entrepreneurship. In the beginning of our course, students learn as a group about logic, coding, and design. Then, they band together to make an app for a real, local non-profit organization that has requested an app from this class.
Previous students have created real apps being used right now by a mental health charity, a New York non-profit, and a charter school in the UK.

Parent Testimonials
Marie (mother of Rafi, 10):
Just to say that this AppCamp has been amazing. Rafi has looked forward to it each week, he's loved working in teams, and he learned a huge amount, much of which I can't even understand. To have them working with excel databases already at the age of 10 and liking it is pretty amazing. I would give these folks a big thumbs up.
Ann (Mother of Tanya, 12):
Tanya likes this class and was engaged more than any other programming class (I have registered her for so many). It was one of the programs where she coded something on her own, and I had to kick her off. After the class, she would spend hours and more in AppBuilder. Tanya is busy and plays on AppBuilder over that. It was great to see how curious she was and she was able to explore her design interest. The program does such a great job engaging her and was able to see the immediate impacts of what she was building.
Simon (Father of Will, 13):
William had a great experience in the program. He brought 2 screens to the JCC so he could have 1 monitor for Zoom and the other for the coursework.
I saw William having fun and interacting with his classmates. He liked the mix of the app development mixed with the business. I haven't seen this combo of the curriculum elsewhere.
